Firstly I would like to drag out of the illusion that INTERNET and WWW are notsynonyms. Internet and www are not same be clear on that.
INTERNET : This is a huge network of networks that connects millions of computers to form a global network in which each and every computer can communicate with each other,Information travels over the internet via many languages called protocols.
WWW: World Wide Web or simply Web is way of accessing the information over the medium of internet , This is a information-sharing model that is built on the top of internet, Web usesHTTP protocol one of the languages spoken in internet to transmit data. Internet is not only used by Web, It is used for e-mail which uses SMTP protocol and is used for transferring files which uses FTP protocol.
The Web is just one of the ways that information can be disseminated over the Internet.
